🌞 Chhath Puja at Art of Living Bangalore β€” My 2025 Experience

Chhath Puja at Art of Living Bangalore 2025 was one of the most peaceful and spiritual experiences of my life.

I celebrated it with my family at the Art of Living International Center, Bengaluru β€” surrounded by nature, devotion, and the spirit of seva.

From volunteering at Annapoorna Kitchen to helping at the ghat in Guru Paduka Vanam, every moment was filled with purpose, devotion, and gratitude.

πŸš— My Journey from Hesaraghatta to the Ashram

I started from Hesaraghatta, North Bengaluru, and took the Nice Road, covering about 40 km to reach the ashram.

My parents, Brothers & his family and children β€” were with me, and all of us were excited to experience Chhath Puja in this serene and spiritual setting.

We reached the ashram well before the evening of 27 October 2025, perfectly on time for the Sandhya Arghya (evening offering).

🏑 Staying at Aparna Block

We had booked a six-seater family room at Aparna Block, one of the peaceful accommodation areas inside the ashram.

After getting ready, we headed toward the ghat for the evening rituals. The atmosphere was charged with bhajans, diyas, and the fragrance of incense β€” truly divine.

The ghat, called Guru Paduka Vanam, looked stunning β€” beautifully decorated by volunteers, and the pond water was sanctified with Ganga Jal.

My mother performed the rituals with deep devotion, offering Arghya to the setting sun and praying for the wellbeing of our family.

I stood with her, feeling a deep sense of connection and calm as the chants of β€œChhathi Maiya ki Jai” echoed around.

After the evening worship, we took the free ashram shuttle back to our room β€” a thoughtful facility that helps everyone move easily within the huge campus.

πŸͺ My Seva Experience β€” From Annapoorna Kitchen to the Ghat

On 25 and 26 October, before the festival, I volunteered at Annapoorna Kitchen, where I helped prepare Thekua Prasadam, the traditional Chhath offering.

Apart from that, I also did seva at the ghat β€” arranging decorations, managing crowds, and most importantly, helping people who arrived late in the evening or early morning find space to perform the rituals.

Seeing hundreds of devotees pray peacefully because of our collective effort gave me immense joy.

That’s when I understood the real meaning of seva β€” selfless service born from devotion.

🀝 The Friends I Made During Seva

While volunteering, I met some amazing people who quickly became close friends.

Some names I remember β€” Avinash, Bhavesh, Manish, Manish Sarkar, Priyanshu, Raushan, and Rohit β€” and some I might forget by name but not by heart.

We worked together through the day and night, managing arrangements, serving food, and laughing through every challenge.

Those friendships are one of the best parts of my Chhath Puja 2025.

πŸŒ„ Morning Arghya β€” The Sunrise of Devotion

On 28 October, I woke up around 3:30 a.m. and reached the ghat with my family.

The stars were still shining, and devotional songs filled the cool air.

As the sun rose, my mother offered Usha Arghya (morning offering) to the rising sun.

We joined her, offering water and fruits to Chhathi Maiya, praying for peace, health, and prosperity.

After the puja, prasadam β€” Thekua, fruits, and sweets β€” was distributed.

The ashram had arranged meals for all vratees (fasting devotees) and general visitors. Watching everyone share food and smile together was pure bliss.

πŸ’« Why Chhath Puja at Art of Living Bangalore Felt So Special

What touched me most about Chhath Puja at Art of Living Bangalore was the balance of discipline, devotion, and inclusiveness.

Every detail was handled perfectly β€” the ghat, decorations, crowd management, cleanliness, food arrangements, and free shuttle services.

The dedication of the volunteers was beyond words β€” they worked selflessly, ensuring every devotee felt welcome and cared for.

πŸ™ My Gratitude and Thanks

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible β€” the volunteers, organisers, and devotees who gave their time and energy with love.

A special thanks to Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji, whose blessings made this Chhath Ghat at the Art of Living International Center a sacred reality.

His vision allowed devotees in South India to celebrate Chhath Puja with authenticity and devotion.

❀️ A Festival I’ll Never Forget

For me, Chhath Puja 2025 at Art of Living Bangalore wasn’t just a ritual β€” it was a personal journey of faith and service.

Celebrating with my parents, doing seva, and watching the sun rise over the ghat are memories I will carry forever.

We returned home to Hesaraghatta with peaceful hearts, filled with gratitude and pride in our tradition.
